Présentation du colloque

La Gestation pour autrui (GPA), lorsqu'une femme porte un enfant pour le compte d'autrui, est une pratique aujourd'hui médicalisée qui est particulièrement controversée. Objet de nombreux des débats, elle reste peu documentée de façon scientifique. En effet, on sait peu de choses sur les possibilités et l'organisation de la GPA dans d'autres pays ou sur l'expérience des gestatrices et des parents. Pour comprendre cette pratique, son développement dans le monde et ses impacts, nous organisons un colloque scientifique international au cours duquel trois principaux thèmes seront abordés : les encadrements de la pratique dans différents contextes politiques, religieux et sociaux ; les représentations et expériences des protagonistes de la GPA ; et la situation en France. Ce colloque, qui regroupera des chercheur.es français et internationaux travaillant sur le thème de la GPA, couvrira la situation de 13 différents pays et région du monde.

Ce colloque sera en anglais et en français avec traduction simultanée.
