Présentation
La conférence célébrera les 150 ans de Lombard Street - le célèbre livre de Walter Bagehot publié en 1873. C'est l'occasion d'étudier les œuvres et la vie de Walter Bagehot et d'analyser en particulier la question du prêt en dernier recours.
L'objectif est de discuter de la théorie du prêt en dernier ressort, notamment à la suite de la crise des subprimes de 2007, de la crise de la dette dans la zone euro de 2010 et de la crise Covid de 2020.
