Présentation de l'éditeur
This book contains the papers of the XV Conference on “Antitrust between EU law and national law”, held in Treviso, and online, on June 16 and 17, 2022, celebrating its 30th anniversary.
The event took place under the patronage of the European Lawyers Union – Union des Avocats Européens (UAE), the Associazione Italiana per la Tutela della Concorrenza – Italian section of the Ligue Internationale du Droit de la Concurrence (LIDC), Associazione Italiana dei Giuristi di Impresa (AIGI), the European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA), Associazione Antitrust Italiana (AAI) and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of the University of Milan. The contributions included in this volume are the result of in-depth analysis and study of the most salient and current issues arising from the application of antitrust rules, carried out by Presidents and representatives of EU and national Antitrust Authorities, in-house lawyers, leading academics, judges, lawyers, economists, high-ranking professionals, who attended the Conference.
The Authors deal with extremely topical and current issues, lying at the heart of the current antitrust debate. Some of the most contemporary topics include those related to sustainability, greenwashing, digital markets and the energy transition.
Ample consideration is also given to the evolution of consumer protection, the relations between compliance, leniency and deterrence, the main issues faced by in house lawyers, as well as private antitrust enforcement and the perspectives of class actions.
