La Conférence canadienne sur le droit des animaux est une conférence annuelle axée sur le droit des animaux, qui met l'accent sur le Canada et l'Amérique du Nord, mais qui s'appuie sur des approches mondiales. Cette année, la conférence propose un programme passionnant en personne avec des présentations stimulantes par des experts de premier plan du monde entier, y compris des avocats, des universitaires, des politiciens, des scientifiques et des défenseurs. La conférencière principale est Martha Nussbaum, professeure de droit et de philosophie à l'Université de Chicago.

En 2022, la Conférence canadienne sur le droit des animaux comprendra une journée entière consacrée à la Conférence nord-américaine sur le droit des animaux le vendredi 16 septembre, en prévision de la conférence principale. Le programme de cette journée spéciale comprendra une piste de présentations pour les chercheurs, offerte en partenariat avec le Brooks Institute for Animal Rights Law & Policy. Le Scholars Track est l'occasion pour les participants d'entendre des experts dans le domaine du droit et des politiques sur les animaux, dans un format modéré de style keynote propice à une réflexion et à une réflexion plus approfondies sur un sujet particulier. Mettant en vedette des conférenciers éminents de partout en Amérique du Nord, le Scholars Track est garanti d'être un point culminant.

La conférence annuelle sur le droit des animaux étudiants aura également lieu le vendredi 16 septembre et présentera un programme d'intérêt pour les étudiants en droit au Canada et à l'étranger. L'admission à la Conférence sur le droit des animaux pour les étudiants en droit est incluse dans le prix d'un billet étudiant.
