Présentation
Ce programme commencé le 1er mars 2014 pour une durée de 5 années, est financé par une bourse ERC Advanced Grant, (ERC-2013-AdG 340770), The development of human activities at sea - What legal framework ? "For a new maritime Law" , acronyme "Human Sea".
Human Sea entend répondre aux problématiques liées au développement des activités humaines en mer qui ont progressivement conduit à une transformation du droit de la mer et du droit maritime et qui restent aujourd'hui juridiquement peu encadrées. L'objectif de ce programme, coordonné par le professeur Patrick Chaumette, ancien directeur du Centre de Droit Maritime et Océanique de l'Université de Nantes, est de repenser les concepts nés de l'histoire des activités maritimes et de la navigation et de s'interroger sur l'intervention des Etats en mer, de leurs eaux territoriales vers la haute mer.
Sont organisés un colloque plénier les 15 et 16 octobre 2018, en parallèle une Junior conférence internationale l'après-midi du lundi 15 octobre et une junior conférence national le mercredi après-midi 17 octobre 2018.
