Haff, Technology as a geological phenomenon: Implications for human well-being, Geological Society London Special Publications 395(1):301-309 · May 2014 ; J. Zalasiewicz (and others), Scale and diversity of the physical technosphere: A geological perspective, The Anthropocene Review, November 2016, SAGE Publishing ; D. Orlov, Shrinking the Technosphere, New Society Publishers, 2016).

“Multidisciplinary approach of the technosphere: cross-examination of the law, the pure, human and social sciences"

Presentation
This second edition of multidisciplinary doctoral days dedicated to the study of phenomena (IUF project "IFITIS") raises the unprecedented question of the dialogue between jurists and non-lawyers on the concept of "technosphere" discussed for nearly fifty years by scientists (see , among others recent literature on the subject: P.K. The topic questions the capacity of different disciplines to grasp the phenomena of the technosphere, considered as a homogeneous whole, produced by human and distinct from the biosphere.
The principle of the day is the following: a lawyer works on a phenomenon of the technosphere and enters into discussion with another discipline which is also interested in the phenomenon; a non- lawyer works on a phenomenon of the technosphere and enters into discussion with a lawyer who is also interested in this phenomenon. The discussion should focus on whether or not the reference to the technosphere is relevant to the disciplines thus gathered around the same phenomenon. The communication proposals of jurists and non-lawyers must be presented in the form of pairs (law and another discipline) or trinomials (law and two other disciplines) already constituted.
Note: on March 29, 2018, the day before the doctoral day, an international seminar will be organized on the subject 'Technosphère et droit', bringing together personalities (lawyers and non-lawyers) from different countries. Participation in the doctoral day involves participation in the international seminar.
Note again: travel and accommodation expenses are in charge of the participants (research entities and doctoral schools of the students)
